Helping You Get Back to the Life You Love
Growing up in Belleville, I watched my parents rely on chiropractic care for the everyday aches and pains that come with work and life. Later, as I played sports, I saw firsthand how chiropractic care could help athletes recover from injuries and get back to doing what they loved. Seeing the difference that knowledge, skilled hands, and genuine concern could make left a lasting impression on me.
After graduating from Logan University, I opened my practice in Belleville in 1992 with a simple vision: to provide the kind of care I'd want my own family to receive.
Throughout my career, one question has shaped almost every decision I've made: Is there a better way?
A better way to understand the source of someone's pain. A better way to explain complex problems in a way that makes sense. A better way to combine clinical experience with the latest research to help people recover and stay healthy.
That question has guided me for more than 30 years. It led me to pursue advanced training in sports medicine and orthopedics, teach healthcare providers around the world, and eventually co-found ChiroUp, an evidence-based clinical resource used by thousands of providers internationally.
But those accomplishments were never the goal. They've simply been part of my lifelong commitment to becoming a better doctor for the patients who trust me with their care.
At Premier Rehab, I want to understand what you're experiencing, answer your questions, identify what's contributing to your problem, and develop a plan around your goals. I believe patients deserve to understand why they're hurting, what their options are, and what they can expect from recovery.
My goal isn't to keep you in my office longer than necessary. It's to help you get back to living your life with confidence while giving you the knowledge and tools to stay healthy for years to come.
Areas of Expertise
Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Expertise
A passion for athletics has shaped much of my clinical career.
Early in my career, I completed advanced certification as a Chiropractic Sports Physician and later earned Diplomate status in Orthopedics. I pursued this additional training because I wanted to better understand how injuries occur and, more importantly, how to help people recover and get back to the activities they enjoy.
Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work with athletes at every level, from youth sports to collegiate and professional athletics. But my approach has never been limited to athletes.
Whether you're trying to get back to golf or pickleball, work comfortably, keep up with your grandchildren, or simply get through the night without pain, my goal is the same: help you get back to doing what you love.
Outside the Office
Life Beyond the Clinic
I'm fortunate to have been born and raised in Belleville, and it's been an honor to spend my entire professional career serving the community that helped shape me.
My wife, Chris, and I have four adult children, plus grandchildren who bring an incredible amount of joy to our lives.
Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my family at Lake Barkley in Kentucky, where we love to water ski and relax together. When we're not at the lake, you'll often find me golfing, snow skiing, SCUBA diving, hiking, or simply enjoying the outdoors.
Although I now spend a significant amount of time teaching, writing, and helping guide ChiroUp, seeing patients remains one of the most rewarding parts of my week. It's a privilege I don't plan on giving up anytime soon.
