Helping You Understand the Problem, Not Just Treat the Symptoms

I'm Dr. Brandon Steele, and I've spent more than 15 years helping people understand what's causing their pain and get back to the things they love doing.

I didn't originally plan to become a chiropractor. After graduating from Saint Louis University, I was preparing to attend dental school when a family friend, Dr. Mark Maher, invited me to spend some time observing his chiropractic practice.

What I saw changed my plans.

I was drawn to the combination of problem-solving, hands-on care, and the relationships he built with his patients. I realized I wanted a career where I could help people feel better, understand their bodies, and make a meaningful difference in their everyday lives.

Today, my approach to care is centered around a simple philosophy: Understand it. Fix it. Prevent it.

I don't believe you should have to keep coming back forever just to manage the same problem. I want you to understand what's causing your pain, know what we're doing about it, and have the tools to stay active and healthy long after treatment ends.

I also believe healthcare shouldn't be intimidating or confusing. I'll explain what's going on in plain English, answer your questions, and work with you to develop a plan that makes sense for your goals.

Whether you're trying to get back to a sport, return to your favorite activities, make it through a workday without pain, or simply move better, my goal is the same:

Help you understand your problem, get you moving again, and give you the confidence to stay that way.

Areas of Special Interest

Conditions I Particularly Enjoy Treating

Although I evaluate and treat musculoskeletal conditions from head to toe, two conditions have become particular areas of interest throughout my career.

Shoulder Pain

Shoulder pain is one of the most misunderstood musculoskeletal conditions. While many people immediately assume they have a rotator cuff injury, shoulder pain can originate from muscles, tendons, joints, the neck, posture, or movement dysfunction.

My goal is to determine the true source of the problem before treatment begins so we can provide the most effective care possible.

TMJ & Jaw Pain

Temporomandibular disorders (TMJ/TMD) are another area I particularly enjoy treating.

Because the jaw, neck, posture, and surrounding muscles work together as a single system, successful treatment often requires far more than focusing on the jaw itself.

With the right diagnosis, patient education, rehabilitation, and hands-on treatment, many patients improve without surgery, injections, or long-term medication.

Life Beyond the Clinic

Dr. Brandon Steele with his family

When I'm not seeing patients or teaching healthcare providers, you'll probably find me on a soccer field.

My wife and I have three children, and I spend most weekends traveling to watch them compete. Watching them grow as athletes and people is easily the highlight of my life.

During football season, you'll also find me cheering on Notre Dame every chance I get.

Being active and spending time with my family are a big part of who I am, and they remind me every day why helping people stay active and do the things they love matters.
